NB-Island Regional Pony Club Quiz 2025

The Regional Pony Club Quiz is coming!
We are so excited to welcome our region’s members to Snider Mountain for a horsey, fun filled weekend! It all begins with the door decorating contest before more serious matters like lunch and the individual written tests. This is the perfect opportunity to practice your stable management knowledge before pony club testing.
After the written tests, members will move onto the ID tables. With 2 teams competing at Nationals this past year, we might have a few new surprises on the ID tables in addition to our golden favorites like horse colors, feeds, shoes, and bits!
After supper, it’s time for the Variety Show (last year’s was too good to not try again this year) and the Youth Rep meeting. Sunday morning, it’s breakfast and team games!!. This is where members test their creativity, team work, and horse knowledge in a series of specially designed challenges.

This amazing event runs because we have a whole group of supportive adults. If you are one of those individuals who is coming to help, please fill out our NB/Island Regional Quiz Chaperone Form. Even if you do not plan to stay at Snider and are only coming for a few hours, filling out this short form helps us by providing your contact info and recording your intended presence.
Reminder for Chaperones: We require a valid Criminal Record Check for you to Chaperone this event. The original CRC needs to be sent to the National Pony Club Office, not the Regional Quiz organizers.

This form will need to be properly completed and signed . The competition level to qualify for National Quiz is “C” level and above and “A/B” level.

$150 for the Pony Club Member and $125 for a Chaperone
Who Can Attend?
All of our riders are able to attend!. You must be a Pony Club member for 2025. There will be members from New Brunswick and PEI. If you are not yet a Pony Club member, sign up at https://www.canadianponyclub.org/membership/membership-forms.
If your rider is under the age of 14, they will need a Chaperone for the weekend.
Are there horses?
There are NO horses at this Event. This is a fun-filled weekend of testing knowledge, speed, and skill in anything related to horses.
What are the Teams?
Our HPC branch will make teams, but please have the kids suggest who they would like to be on a team with. The kids will compete both individually and in teams.

- Chaperones and any parents coming for the quiz need a valid Criminal Vulnerable Record Check before attending. This Criminal Vulnerable Record Check must be sent to National First. If you have any questions, please contact us. Criminal Vulnerable Record Checks are valid for 3 years. Late Fee will apply on April 1st – 6th, 2025 – Extra Cost is $30/member
