The quiz this year WILL be a TWO-DAY Event. The Registration packages will be sent out in the near future but we wanted to draw attention to 2 documents which may need more time to complete.
1) Criminal Vulnerable Record Check for Chaperones is required for this event for the Chaperones that stay overnight. It is recommended to have this check for all volunteers but especially for the Chaperones that stay overnight with the children.
DC’s – Please ask your Chaperones to get this completed. Our Regional Chair (Heather), sent out a Letter for our volunteers to use so there should be no charge since you are recognized as a Pony Club Volunteer. (Email sent Feb. 22)
I am not sure about NB, but in PEI, the Criminal Vulnerable Record from Heather MUST be personalized and dated. Plus, you need a photocopy of your Health Care and Driver’s License, and it must be submitted to the RCMP within 2 weeks of the dated letter by Heather. Plus, only go to your local RCMP designated area. (For Example – Charlottetown is Maypoint, Stratford is for Stratford Residents)
Sometimes Criminal Vulnerable Record Checks take time. Once Received, the Original MUST go to the National Pony Club.
Even if you have other Criminal Vulnerable Record checks done with other organizations, my understanding is that you still need a Criminal Vulnerable Record Check for Pony Club.
2) Medical Record for Members attending Quiz
Click to see the Medical Record for the members armbands. I am told that the medical armband is NOT mandatory to wear during the Pony Club Quiz, but the kids can if they wish. HOWEVER, Jenn and myself MUST AND REQUIRE to have a HARDCOPY on site during the Quiz.
Thank you kindly for your time and help with these documents.
