Meet Our Team!
Jennifer Hanson
Owner / Coach
I have been teaching and training horses and students for many years and since 1993 as a certified Level 1 English Coach. My involvement with horses has been a lifelong passion.
I began my riding adventures at the Rothesay Pony Club. I progressed from beginner status to one of the senior members responsible for barn chores on the weekends.
I went to Wilfrid Laurier University for my business degree. I was not long in realizing that I could help pay for my horse hobby through barn chores and teaching a few lessons. I was lucky enough to mentor under a fabulous lady who helped me to my completion of the Level 1 certificate.
Throughout the years I have shown in many English disciplines such as dressage, show jumping, eventing, Pony Club Rally, long distance judged pleasure rides and hunter paces. I have met some incredible horse people along the way.

Carriane led trail rides and horse summer camps for many years as a teen to help cover the board for Bailey and spend some more time with horses.
When college came around, Carriane took a few years off riding to focus on school and a career path. She eventually realized her passion had always been and would always be horses. She now works full time at HRC as the Barn Manager and Lead Riding Instructor. Her goal is to become a certified EC coach focusing on the three disciplines of eventing. She loves teaching all ages about equestrianism and always strives to make riding a fun and educational experience for both the horses and the riders.
