Meet our Team!
Owner / Coach
I have been teaching and training horses and students for many years and since 1993 as a certified Level 1 English Coach. My involvement with horses has been a life long passion.
I began my riding adventures at the Rothesay Pony Club. I went from beginner status to one of the senior members responsible for barn chores on the weekends.
I then went on to Wilfrid Laurier University for my business degree. There, I was not long in realizing that I could help pay for my horse hobby through barn chores and teaching a few lessons. I was lucky enough to mentor under a fabulous lady who helped me to my completion of the Level 1 certificate.
Throughout the years I have shown in many English disciplines such as dressage, show jumping, eventing, Pony club ralllies, long distance judged pleasure rides and hunter paces. I have met some incredible horse people along the way.

Katie Jardine began riding at the age of 11 after numerous summers doing horseback riding camps. Once immersed into full time riding, she soon found her passion in jumping and dressage work. This led her to the purchase of her first horse, By Special Request, a 9 year old Quarter Horse cross. At the age of 14 she joined the Hampton Pony Club and competed throughout Canada on her own horse, various project horses, and Pony Club horses. Under the tutelage of International Level Eventing, Show Jumping, and Dressage coaches, Katie received her C level in the Pony Club and Rider Level 6 in the Equine Canada Learn-to-Ride Program. Through the pony club Katie competed heavily in dressage and rally events. She represented the New Brunswick/Prince Edward Island Region four times at the Canadian Pony Club National Dressage Championships. Katie was hired in 2010 as a working student for Jennifer Hanson , which gave her a multitude of experience in the show ring, as a groom, and eventually, teaching. Katie’s venture into teaching horseback riding began as a means to better her riding, however she soon discovered it was her true passion. In 2011, she became a certified Equine Canada Instructor. Katie has now taken a step back from competing full time to complete her Bachelor of Education degree at the University of New Brunswick, but continues to teach students of all ages and abilities. Her training in both the classroom and show ring has given her a well-rounded teaching experience , which shows through her coaching.
